Biovalys joined the activity at Rabies Scientific Conference 2020: Trend of Human Rabies Prophylaxis: Toward Optimal Immunization at Narai Hotel, Bangkok on December 3rd-4th, 2020. The conference organized by Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute (QSMI). Over 150 healthcare professionals participated in the conference, which held both onsite at the hotel and via teleconference.

Biovalys joined this meeting with QSMI association every year to increase the awareness of rabies disease and rabies vaccine.

Biovalys also held the industrial lunch symposium in this conference, with the topic “The Value of Rabies Prophylaxis: From Pre-exposure through Post-exposure (CPRV)”, on December 4th, 2020. The key point summary from the symposium is pre-exposure rabies prophylaxis is now recommended for sub individuals at higher risk due to occupations or for sub-populations in remote rabies endemic settings, and also for children who have risk. Furthermore, CPRV has clinical trials both in pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) with good immunogenicity and safety.
