BIOVALYS joined the activity Short course PIDST 2020: Update on Pediatric Infectious Diseases 2020
Update information on rabies for pediatric physicians across the country. Biovalys joined the activity Short Course PIDST 2020 in the topic “Update on Pediatric Infectious Diseases 2020” at The Sukosol Hotel, Bangkok on February 19th-21st 2020.
Over 500 pediatric physicians participated the annual academic meeting organized by Pediatric Infectious Disease Society of Thailand (PIDST). Biovalys joined booth exhibition by provided knowledge about rabies disease and rabies prevention.
The new update of Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) program is adding Rota vaccine for Thai children 2-month and 4-month of age. Moreover, PIDST recommends rabies vaccine for pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) in risk group by starting from 2 month of age with 2 visits at day0 and day7. So, rabies vaccine recommended for optional vaccine for protect Thai children from rabies virus.
